Donders laboratory for cognitive and affective neurosciences

Welcome to the site of Beatrice de Gelder, head of the cognitive and affective neurosciences Laboratory, a group of researchers that investigate cognition and emotion in humans. Our projects include investigations of cognition and emotion neurologically intact participants but also in patients with focal brain lesions, and prosopagnosia, neuropsychiatric populations such as people with schizophrenia, autism and Williams syndrome. We use behavioral methods, electrophysiology, EMG, as well as functional imaging.
